Mexican Election Update

The polls show the race for presidente is pretty much tied at 38% between Communist Obrador, and "Conservative" Calderon.

Basically, Calderon wants to continue Fox's policies, which have improved Mexico's economy. Really, it's been astronomical gas prices responisble for the improvements.

Obrador, says he would cut funding, and then spend leftovers on the poor.

Nobody in this race that I am aware of has said one word about taking care of their fleeing citizen problems.

In other Mexican news, drug wars continue leaving behind heads on the doorsteps of city halls.
