*Update Nov. 8 (12:30pm)* Burns is out, Steele is out, Republicans won't have a majority, but Dems don't necessarily have the majority either, at least not yet (they need Allen's seat).
-----
The Democrats have the House, but the Senate is literally up for grabs. It's basically down to Montana and Virginia. Unless you still think Michael Steele has a chance in Maryland -that would be a very small chance.In Virginia it's up to Sen. George Allen (R) who is up against Jim Webb (D);
in Montana it's up to Sen. Conrad Burns (R) and John Tester (D).
And both Democrats have razor thin leads, with the Virginia race to be recounted. If Burns loses, it'll take weeks for the Allen-Webb vote to be counted.
If the Senate is lost, expect nothing less than the far left of the Democratic Party to strong-arm their fellow conservative Dems and rollback the tax cuts, hold impeachment hearings, grant amnesty, do nothing on social security, and maybe impose socialized healthcare.

Music to my ears!
Hah! A little bit country, and a little bit rock'n roll.
and "imposing healthcare" on a nation with 40million uninsured and millions of working families below the pverty line is a bad thing????
yep, i see how that one works.
Under the current system there are thousands of systems to choose from that they can't access, its pure evil to have a system EVERYONE can partake in.
I'd forgotten how evil helping people less fortuante than myself was.
Helping people is good. Forcing the American public to pay for the healthcare of everybody, including those who abuse their bodies in ways most Americans reject on moral, religious, or grounds on common-sense is unconstitutional.
The Federal Government was not authorized by the Constitution the power to force healthcare funding on the people.
