President Bush, as you are probably well aware, gave an interview to Scott Pelley of CBS's 60 Minutes. A more candid interview than I expected. It was Bush as he has never been, but as he has always been. Humble, but firm. Here's the text of the interview (video link below).
I don't like how things are going in Iraq, I don't like that it is taking the amount of time it is with such little progress. But I want to win. I really want us to win. So I'm inclined to support our President.
It doesn't take congressional hearings, study groups, or think tanks to realize that what happens in Iraq will dramatically affect what happens here now and in the future. As Americans, we are at war, and we need to support this effort in what is probably the last throes of the war.
