An act of defiance, a show of strength:
Iran conducted missile tests Monday as its leadership stepped up warnings of a possible military confrontation with the U.S.Meanwhile, Iran plans to ration citizens, in another show of strength:
The Iranian government has decided to ration gasoline in OPEC's second biggest producer in the Iranian year that starts in March 2007, state-owned Iran newspaper reported Wednesday. And Russia, being the good neighbor:
The Russians have fulfilled their commitment to provide Iran with advanced anti-aircraft missile systems that will help shield the country's nuclear program from Israeli and or American air strikes.

This is why we need to take Iran down hard, and do it very soon. The longer we wait and try to appease them like Neville Chamberlain-- or his modern counterpart, Condi Rice-- the more bloody and awful the eventual war with them will be.
Iran is KILLING AMERICAN SOLDIERS in Iraq while continuing to assist terrorist attacks that have already killed or badly hurt thousands of Americans and promise to kill thousands more.
This is an act of war by Iran against the USA, yet we just let them get away with it, while building up nuclear weapons against us, too.
So if Iran is already committing acts of war against the USA, why the f&%k are we hesitating to hit them-- to launch extremely powerful air strikes against them to go for weeks, along with some ground and sea forces too?
The answer is the idiots at the US State Department who think they can appease Iran, just like stupid people decades ago against the Nazis. It didn't work then and it won't work now, it just emboldens them. Whatever happens with Ahmidenijad, Iran's power is in the theocrats who lead it, they're the dangerous ones and they have so much oil and so much nuclear material, Iran will have nukes in maybe about 6 months or so and vastly spread terrorism if we don't stop them.
Iran's not that strong, their weapons are antiquated and their soldiers poorly trained. They can't block the Straight of Hormuz, we have too many mine-sweepers for that. And they can't push a Shiite rebellion in Iraq-- the Shiites have already rebelled, like Sadr's people, and the USA just demolished them each time.
If Bush runs away like a sobbing little kid from fighting Iran, history will record it as one of the most humiliating defeats of any Western country, and Bush would be regarded along with Blair as one of the worst traitors and cowards in Western history.
We can hit Iran's nuclear program and the supporting structures very hard and very successfully, and since Iran has already committed multiple acts of terrorism and war against the US, we have no choice but to make the Iranians pay. I only hope that Bush stops listening to the cowards and appeasers in his Administration, and instead summons up the courage to fight this deadly enemy.
We'll find out more tonight.
