My Hiatus

I've made some changes to the blog. If you've noticed, there is a lot less clutter, and consequently less links. I'm hoping for a clean and more professional look. No hard feelings.

The past several months I've been going through a tough time with my wife, and just before Christmas I discovered her infidelity and the previous thoughts of divorce rapidly materialized into a sure thing.

I lost my head the night I found out and wound up getting arrested. I witnessed several of my rights ignored (despite my objections), got a face full of asphalt thanks to two jumpy LEOs, and a record that will last a lifetime.

A word of advice: if you want to get along, be a subject. If you want to assert the gifts afforded to you by American soldiers' blood, you go to jail. I'm not diverting blame for my indiscretion. I accept all that comes with it. But even when guilty, we are still Americans; I know that still has to mean something.
