That's right. Not that the AP would tell you, but in Cleveland, adult-minors (those over 18 and under 21) cannot legally buy a handgun, you know, the kind of gun that was recklessly and maliciously fired resulting in the death of a 12 year-old. But don't let details get in the way of this media-politico orgasm over new gun control legislation:
Cleveland's mayor called on the state Monday to create a law that would prohibit anyone younger than 21 from possessing a firearm.Diverting blame, is easy with a common enemy so readily visualized as a bad guy: the gun.
Mayor Frank Jackson's proposal followed the shooting death last week of a 12-year-old girl who was hit by a stray bullet.
