Fred Thompson to announce, for real this time (maybe)

I would brush it off, but it sounds very specific. Not only does Fred have a date of announcement, but has scheduled to debate, and make an appearance in a Republican leadership conference.

...Thompson will announce his campaign September 4th, and that he will participate in his first debate on September 27 at Morgan State University in Baltimore.

I am still reluctant to show support for a specific candidate. Yet from what I've heard Fred say, I see a glimmer of hope that he's better than the top tier Republican candidates (I am liking Huckabee however, just doubt he's viable), but I'll hold judgment on Fred for awhile, at least until after his first debate.
