Fuck Ass-Uh Coon. Not only did he not manage to kill anyone but his pathetic self, he claimed to worship Marilyn Manson, who also sucks.He didn't even prove any points, other than the school's security was a gigantic joke. That kid is nothing memorable, just a huge copycat shooter. Should of kept his eyes open when he pulled the triggers, but they were probably too full of eyeliner and tears from his endless 14 year, dramatic saga of suffering, cutting and weeping. He probably shot himself on accident, trying to see if the barrel of the gun could easily fit into his mouth.

Never do i condone killing another person but there are times when i think to myself well maybe it was right in a way...Suffering from depression myself when i was younger and having gone through hell and back, there is a moment when you just want to teach everyone has hurt you a lesson. Now that this has happened and i mean it seems to be happening alot now, we can sit back and learn something. Just sit and think about every mean and hurtful thing you have said to someone knowing they already had it bad. Think about how it stayed in their mind for so long and how much they probably hated you for saying such cruel things. People need to think before they speak, not everyone is built alike and take whatever cruel thing you say and forget about it. Thankfully noone was hurt but i hope every student that ever hurt him goes through hell and feels so guilty cause in the end you did this to him.

Asa Coon is memorable. I am from the middle of nowhere, and I will always remember that day and his name. He did prove a point, and that is that school systems and the government today does not handle emotion and strong feelings of hate, fear, anger... they only want to deal with happy and joyfull feelings. I am an editor for my high school newspaper, and recently wrote an editorial on how today's society and school districts handle such emotion and opinions of religion and government from students. Asa was my inspiration for that editorial. What Asa Coon did brings a lot of attention to other problems in the world that people need to realize.
This kid was a piece of shit and should be remembered as one. When everyone researches into this punk's life and tells his sad story, you are only serving his wishes. Instead of analyzing the feckless losers, let's just say it like it is, he was a worthless piece of garbage better off dead. Then maybe the next kid will just shoot himself instead of killing others. This kind of empathy after the fact only serves to further motivate others contemplating the same action.

I was made fun of as a kid constantly. And it spurred suicidal thoughts and attempts. It even caused such deep depression that it spun my wonderful life with bipolar disorder. All it takes is for one tramatic thing to happen and your mind just looses it. I've been dealing with self harm for a very long time now. People need to learn tolerance. Stop being ignorant. This is why the worlds population is getting fucking dumber. And not to make it a racial thing, but black people were some of the worst about bullying. It makes them "gangsta" yo. I'm from Baltimore, Maryland so I think I would know. People need to stop pushing this shit off as "he was crazy". Did you ever stop to think what he went through every day. I'm not saying that justifies what he did, but with first hand experience of a mental disorder I know, some people just can't take it. They snap and people need to start taking responsibility and stop being punks. Face it there are mental illnesses and if anyone cared to research it instead of running their mouths, they would know it is the same as a physical ailment. You cannot help it. People like some of you on here are the ones that put a social stigma on mental illness. If someone murdered someone you loved, you would want them to take responsibility. It applies here too. If you've done something wrong, or hurt someone (emotionally or physically) be man/woman enough to fucking admit to it. Life is not easy and we certainly do not need to make each other's lives any harder. I just try to put past me what my youth was like and be nice to people and tolerant and try to make as many friends as I can. I just want to have a positive impact on people's lives to balance out the negative impressed on mine.

It is frightening to me to see comments about "kill whitey" or "shoot all the jigs". Have we learned nothing from all the hatred in this world? Hatred is reponsible for the 911 attacks. Hate accomplishes NOTHING. It is the responsibility of parents to teach their children how to be decent people. Teachers are put in a position to be parents to the kids who have no guidance. I am sorry that Asa Coon may have been "picked on", however it does not give him the right to come onto the school with guns blazing to avenge his pain. He should not be "glamorized" here or anywhere else for that matter. He was obviously a tortured soul who needed help. We should be teaching TOLERANCE in our schools. NOT HATE.

i know what its like to be on both sides of the fence. i grew up in canton ohio and went to a big high school there and it probally was 60 percent blacks. i hung around the wrong crowd and did my share of bullying there. then my mom moved us out to the country and i spent the worst 3 years of my life in a high school there where everybody was white. there was only two black kids in the whole school and the school was 7th grade to 12th grade all in one building. and the people there were nothing but a bunch of rich preppy boys and girls they all had the most expensive shoes and clothes . and my mom couldnt afford all that for me so i wore k mart clothes. i went from being in with the popular crowd at my old school and picking on and bullying people to eating at a cafeteria table by my self for three years. and being made fun of cause i was wearing puma shoes instead of the new nikes that just came out. and over those three years i had plenty of thoughts running through my head from suicide to payback but there was consequences with both i couldnt do the suicide thing cause i couldnt put my mom through losing her first born. and i couldnt do the payback thing and shoot all the people that did me wrong over those years cause i never been to jail and i definateley didnt want to go so i put up with it it was very difficult at times. especially when your nextdoor neighbor is your best friend and only friend. but when your at school eating lunch by your self and you see your best friend sitting at a table with some of the people that bully and pick on you and he acts like he doesnt even know who u are. but the minute the school bus drops u both off he goes back to being your bestfriend again that suks. and i sometimes wondered if i hurt any of the kids i used to bully like i was hurt by the kids that bullied me.and now that i knew how it felt to be picked on to the point of suicidal and murderous thoughts i am very sorry for anyone i might have hurt back then. i know for a fact that the teachers know who the groups are that do the bullying and who the groups are who get bullied. and i think it might help a little if the teacher took those two groups and paired up some of the kids from each group to do class projects in and out of school. so that way they get to know a little more about each other and maybe it might help even just a little with the bullying problems in school.
