Providing the best 2nd Amendment coverage the blogosphere has to offer.
"[L]et us carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or invented against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed."
-Thomas Jefferson (1823)

"The government should have a monopoly on force." Like Burma? Like when it's more acceptable to have government agents murder than to have private citizens murder?
Taking away guns from the "mentally ill," who were diagnosed as such with heavy influence from the APA, who, coincidentally, is anti-gun.
6 years after September 11th, 2001, we now know of one person who changed his mind on gun control, and a lot of other issues, right before a major election.
A Gun Rights Policy Conference speech: "Gun Violence. Take away the gun and you still have violence. Take away the violence, you won't need a gun."
Gun rights stalled in bureaucracy... because of a... lawsuit on its untimeliness. Yeah, I hate it when my blogging permit renewal gets hung up in bureaucratic red tape, oh wait...
How a 9mm handgun evolved into an evil assault rifle. I wonder then what the 'authorized journalists' would consider of this, perhaps a WMD?
I wish I could be there, and get in on some of that gun lobby cash. And you guys aren't bought cheap either, stickin' it to the NRA like that!
Watch out for the assault musket. Taking away the thugs' gun of choice by closing the "musket loophole."
A well-armed tribe. And inexplicably, they're not lavishly funded by the gun lobby.
Taking the right to arms a step further is very cool, even though Al Gore might try to tax it.
Unfortunately, these people vote. More unfortunately, they breed too.
When good news is not good enough, considering it's a right.
What is supply without demand? A shady example of government intervention and bureaucratic job security.
What does a bronze rat have to do with the Second Amendment?
Legislation based on the movies Die Hard and Boys 'n the Hood, what could possibly go wrong?
Another distinguished and professional medical organization with a political agenda? What is it with these doctors?
The latest legal shuffle on the once-in-a-lifetime case, D.C. v Heller.
And I guess the idea behind that Jefferson quote is not quite sinking in for some people. But then again, Jefferson may not have been authoritative enough.

Thanks for bringing this back!
Thanks for bringing the 2-A Carnival back to life (and the mention of the Traction Control blog).
My opinion voiced during the NRA meeting was that,
"To me, any law written after the word 'infringed' is bad law."
I hope this makes a Quote of the Week somewhere.
Again ... many thanks!
