NIU shooting. 18 shot, 5 6 dead.

Another shooting in a gun-free zone. According to the latest reports, no one other than the gunman was killed, hopefully it stays that way.

Here's what I found on NIU's weapons policy:

Possession and use of weapons are strictly prohibited on the NIU campus.

All those cameras, security systems and even a prohibition on weapons... sounds familiar.

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.
