I'm ordering Niall Ferguson's new book, The War of the World: Twentieth-Century Conflict and the Descent of the West.
The guy is brilliant. After reading his amazing book about the success and failure of, and potential of American imperialism titled Colossus, I anticipate understanding his views on the conflicts of the 20th century, especially the Descent of the West part.
The new book is rather thick, and given my time constraints, don't know when I'll get a review out, but I intend to do so.
