Burma protesters dying off

Some reports of destroyed villages and mass relocation, journalists being killed, monks being killed, possibly hundreds killed, not to mention rule from an abusive military dictatorship for decades.

But I thought the UN's main charter was "to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small..." Huh.

With each passing day the Burmese military exponentially increase their deservedness of a serious ass-kicking. Maybe one serious enough to employ the Powell Doctrine this time.
